1) How long does it take to make a license plate?

The production and delivery time is approximately one working day. Once your order is placed, our team will arrange for the production process immediately. The fastest production time for a pair of license plates is within 10 minutes in our retail store.

*Delivery time may be subject to changes or delays depending on the actual circumstances. Ming Plate can only guarantee your order will be dispatched in one working day. We are unable to control the actual delivery time.

2) Any risk of license plates being damaged during delivery?

All license plates are packaged in sturdy cardboard boxes to ensure thorough protection during the shipping process.

3) How many kinds of size options are available?

We offer 7 standard license plate size options:

520mm x 133mm
520mm x 115mm
520mm x 110mm
520mm x 105mm
330mm x 170mm

482mm x 170mm
432mm x 170mm

4) Do you provide installation instructions? What tools should I prepare before installation?

Yes we do. Please refer to the tutorial video (here). Instead of preparing tools yourself, we recommend you to use our installation kit before installing or removing the license plates.

5) Is there any risk of failing the Annual Vehicle Examination if a customized license plates are installed on my vehicle?

Fonts other than "Government," or "Square," style, or if the content of custom license plates include sensitive words, inappropriate information, misleading elements, etc., the vehicle may not pass the Annual Vehicle Examination. Ming Plate is not responsible for related issues. Customers are at their own risk. Shall you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us before customization.

6) Is there drill hole service provided?

Yes, we do. Please choose the drill hole service during customization.

7) How can I measure the hole positions accurately?

Please refer to the diagram below. Customers should provide the measurement of the distance between the two centers, indicated as "a" on the diagram. The height is denoted as "b." The other two sides should also be symmetrical.

8) Would I fail to install the license plate if I cannot provide the accurate hole positions?

No worries. Our installation process ensures a clean and tidy look for your license plate. The 6MM screws will be placed through 8MM holes, fully covering them with 12MM screw heads. Your license plate will be securely mounted without any unsightly issues.

9) Which traffic regulation should I refer to before customizing a license plate?

Customers can refer to Appendix 4 of the Hong Kong Ordinance Chapter 374E regarding the display of registration numbers and characters. Our store does not guarantee that the products sold comply with the requirements of road regulations. Customers should take their own risk and should take note before making a purchase.
